Adam grew up as the oldest of two sons in a middle-class family where a hard work ethic, self-responsibility, and living within one’s means were common themes of discussion around the dinner table every night.
He lives with his wife of 16 years, Kristi (EHS ’99), who is a successful realtor in the Lehigh Valley. He has twin 12 year old sons, who currently attend Willow Lane Elementary.
His work as an educator began as a young high school student teaching swim lessons at the local YMCA. Many years later, after graduating from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s Degree in education, he began his teaching career in 2003 teaching 7th grade science in Allentown. He also carries two Master’s Degrees from Wilkes University in Educational Leadership and Instructional Technology. He has been a member of the Church of St. Ann in Emmaus since 2003.
Adam has spent 18 years in the classroom and is currently a fourth grade math teacher in a nearby school district.
In February of 2020, Adam proudly accepted an invitation to be one of three School Directors nationally to serve as an advisor to the Future Ready Schools School Board Strand.
Adam enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on his sons at swim meets, woodworking, and spending time outdoors.
Adam has experience with and/or specialized education in the following areas:
